METCloud, a cyber secure cloud platform founded in Birmingham, is starting the year in celebration after securing three consecutive awards, including ‘Most Innovative MSP’, ‘IT Security Company of the Year’ and ‘Best Cloud Computing Provider’.

The hybrid cloud platform launched early 2017, in response to the growing cyber threat landscape for businesses. Since then, METCloud has been gaining recognition for providing a revolutionary service offering that is built around the highest levels of cyber security technologies available.

The beginning to METCloud’s hat trick of success emerged in September after being shortlisted for 3 categories at the UK Managed Services Awards 2018. The event that focuses on the evolving and buoyant managed service market, crowned METCloud the ‘Most Innovative MSP, with the judging panel extremely impressed by the advanced level of protection made available by the cloud platform.

METCloud had a second string of success on 22nd November at the SVC Awards 2018 – an event that celebrates outstanding projects, products and services within the IT industry. After being shortlisted for 4 great categories, the public vote cast METCloud as ‘IT Security Company of the Year’, emphasising their strong cybersecurity expertise.

The Computing Technology Product Awards 2018 recognises and honours the very best in technology talent and was METCloud’s third and final ceremony of the year. Hosted at the Montcalm Hotel on Park Lane, London, the event brought together dozens of industry leaders from all areas of the IT sector. METCloud attended the event as five time shortlisted finalists and were pleased to pick up their third trophy of the year after being awarded as ‘Best Cloud Computing Provider’.

Ian Vickers, Managing Director of METCloud, said: “The whole team are delighted with our successes in 2018 but we won’t be sitting on our laurels. We are continuing to enhance the platform and in 2019 we are already committed to working with Birmingham City University to develop one of the first AI capabilities for our Cyber surveillance services.
