THE ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN MIDLANDS CYBER AND THE MARYLAND DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE

The Economic Partnership between Midlands Cyber and Maryland was established in 2015 with the signing of a Memorandum Of Understanding between the Maryland Department of Commerce and Midlands Cyber, following a successful first three years, the MOU was resigned in January of 2021.

Through this partnership the Midlands Cyber network can benefit from a strategic international relationship with strengthened international connections to 60 federal agencies and 50 Universities in the state.

Phoebe Dawson, Director of Investment and Partnerships at Worcestershire LEP, said: "Our partnership between Midlands Cyber, which is a network of cyber firms across the Midlands and Maryland intends to shine a light on cyber expertise and to boost trade and investment opportunities. The Midlands is one of the most lucrative and accessible cyber markets in Europe attracting the brightest and best to the region and we are continuing to build our business profile across the world.”
