Small or micro companies registered in the UK and working on the development of fundamental Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, Quantum technologies, Engineering Biology, or the design and development of semiconductors / semiconductor IP blocks can apply for help.
The Funded Cyber Essentials Programme by NCSC aims to provide free assistance to small companies and organizations in high-risk sectors to implement cyber security controls that prevent common types of cyber attacks.
Some sectors are more prone to cyber-attacks due to the sensitive information they handle or because they are perceived as easy targets by cybercriminals. The program is focused on supporting small companies with low cyber maturity levels that work with sensitive data that may cause significant harm if disrupted. The Cyber Essentials Plus will be offered to specific sectors that are at high risk of cyber attack at no cost.
