The event aimed to foster collaboration between the Hauts-De-France Region and the West Midlands, providing an opportunity for cyber academics to explore potential partnerships and areas of mutual interest. The roundtable was one of several “CyberVerse” Fringe events that ran in conjunction with the national CyberUK 24 Conference at the ICC. This partnership focus’ on identifying opportunities for collaboration between academic institutions in the Hauts-De-France Region and the West Midlands. Participants had the chance to engage in meaningful conversations and establish connections that could lead to future research collaborations, exchange programs, and joint innovation initiatives. The event had been organised because of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Midlands Cyber and Nord France Invest, demonstrating a commitment to strengthening ties between the two regions.
