Another successful event complete! Thankyou to all those who attended 'Developments in Security for Aerospace and Defence', 20th September 2022 at QinetiQ, Malvern Technology Park.
Midlands Cyber Cluster members were invited to attend an exclusive evening of networking for the Aerospace and Defence industry. Keynote speakers Paul Kennedy CEng PhD, Cyber Security & Communications Engineering Specialist at QinetiQ, and Russell Coleman, Head of Business Innovation at Collins Aerospace presented two talks on the use of reliable and enhanced cyber solutions for national security.
Companies in the Aerospace and Defence sector face an increasingly high grade risk of cyber-attacks and infiltration - cyber threats are more advanced given the deep tech requirements of the industry. Hackers in this space are more highly sophisticated than with standard cyber-attacks, considering that breaches in this sector can have mission critical security consequences on a national level.
Midlands Cyber's Security for Aerospace and Defence was a one off opportunity to showcase the work of leading stakeholders in the research and development of cyber for national security within the West Midlands.
If you were unable to attend 'Security for Aerospace and Defence' but would like the opportunity to take part in upcoming cluster projects we recommend joining the network!
